Luboš Nevrkla

Luboš Nevrkla, J.D., Ph.D., has been closely cooperating with Daniel Mališ since February 2007, and is a partner in the law firm Mališ Nevrkla Legal since July 2009. He primarily focuses on business law, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate law, competition law, labor law and securities law.

After graduating from Charles University's School of Law (1996), Luboš joined the Prague branch of a top international law firm, operating from 2000 under thename Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He successfully passed the Czech Bar Exam in 1999. Luboš further extended his legal education in postgraduate studies at Charles University's School of Law, which he successfully completed in 2002 by being awarded a Ph.D. degree.

During his long career as an attorney, Luboš has gained substantial experience in many areas of Czech law, especially business law, focusing in particular on corporate law (including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and non-profit organizations), business and civil contract law, intellectual property law, labor law, and international private law. He was also intensively involved in the preparation of a large number of legal due diligence analyses and extensive contractual documentation for projects in various branches of trade and industry (e.g. in the electronics sector, the construction industry and the brewing industry). This included the largest BOT pilot transport infrastructure project in Central and Eastern Europe, which was structured as a public-private partnership (PPP).

Luboš's interests include reading science fiction and foreign literature, cycling and traveling.

He speaks fluent Czech and English. He also has a passive knowledge of German and Russian.
