Daniel Mališ

Daniel Mališ, J.D., M.D., Ph.D., LL.M., primarily focuses on Medical Law, Litigation, and Administrative Law.

Daniel is a graduate of Charles University First School of Medicine (1996) and Charles University School of Law (1998). Immediately after receiving his degree in law, he joined the former Prague branch of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he worked until 2001. At Freshfields, Daniel focused on Intellectual Property Law and Medical Law.

Daniel further extended his legal education in the U.S. at New York University School of Law (2001-2002), where he focused on Contract Law and Intellectual Property Law and received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree. He completed his study of U.S. law by successfully passing the New York Bar Exam (2002) and later became a member of the New York State Bar Association.

After returning to the Czech Republic, Daniel successfully passed the Czech Bar Exam (2002) and consequently set up his own law firm, which was transformed into Mališ Nevrkla Legal in 2009.

Since 2016, Daniel works in our law firm as Of Counsel, in which capacity he provides consultations to his colleagues related mainly to Medical Law.

In 2020, Daniel successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis dealing with compensation of general damages in personal injury cases.

Daniel’s interests include medicine, healthy lifestyle, and organ music.

He speaks fluent Czech and English, and has a good passive knowledge of Russian.
